- April 5 (Friday) Start of 18-day voting period (through Election Day). Ballots are mailed out and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) are available at voting centers.
- April 10 (Wednesday) Last day to publish Notice of April Special Election
- April 15 (Monday) Deadline to receive new registrations online and by mail for the April Special Election
- April 23 (Tuesday) Deadline for Washington State voter registration (in person only) and voter updates for the April Special Election
- April 23 Special Election – Deposit your ballot in an official drop box by 8 pm on Election Day.
- May 3 (Friday) County Canvassing Board certifies April Special Election results
Candidate Filing
- April 22 (Monday) First day filing officer may receive candidate declarations by mail
- May 6 (Monday) First day to file a declaration of candidacy. Includes PCOs.
- May 10 (Friday) Last day to file a declaration of candidacy.
- May 13 (Monday) Final day to withdraw from the ballot.
- May 14 (Tuesday) Last day for Secretary of State to certify candidates to County Auditors
