Certification Policy

Any candidate who wishes to be certified as a Democrat by the San Juan County Democrats (SJCD) must submit answers to the following questions to the chair of the SJCD.

1.      Have you run for or held public office as a Democrat?  If yes, elaborate.

2.      Have you held a position in a Democratic Party?  If yes, elaborate.

3.      Have you attended a majority of meetings of your local party during the last year?  If yes, in which local party organization?

4.      Have you been involved in activities that parallel the values of the Democratic Party?  If yes, please elaborate.

If, and only if, you answered no to each of the four questions above, state why you believe you should be certified by the San Juan County Democrats as a Democrat.
